Covid is a concern for everyone. Here’s how we are handling it in our video production house.
Covid-19 Safety Procedures:
Personnel
-Upon hiring all cast and crew will sign a liability waiver for Elephant Productions.
-Everyone is required to wear a 2-ply mask on set and confirm whether they have or need one.
-Everyone is encouraged to wash and sanitize hands every 30 minutes.
-H/MU and Wardrobe will wear gloves when working with talent. H/MU areas are strictly off limits to everyone except H/MU crew and talent.
-If it is not required for the crew to work in close proximity, then 6 ft of social distance is required.
-Crew are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing their own equipment.
-No handling equipment that is not in your department.
-Extra monitors will be on set to encourage distancing.
-Everyone is encouraged to take the 360 Training course on Covid-19 Awareness.
-Catering will be individually boxed.
-Crafty will be in single serve packaging.
-Crew will eat socially distanced or in their cars.
-When in doubt, refer to CDC and Texas Health and Human Services guidelines.
The set will have…
-A no touch thermometer to check temperatures as the crew arrives on set.
-Hand sanitizer throughout.
-Hand washing stations.
-Popup tents to encourage social distancing.
Crew Additions
-Safety Officer/Medic to watch for social distancing
-Sanitization Officer to clean and sanitize throughout the day.
-Cleaning crew for nightly sanitization.
