A professional video production service isn’t just about pretty pictures. It combines art with content management, financial stability and much more.

A few years ago, we were awarded a project from a large educational textbook publisher and the road to production was fast and furious. We got the call on December 26th about a drastic change in plans regarding the production and whether we could help pull it off.  Just a few weeks later, we went into production on January 13th to create 683 math videos. In addition to a quick prep, our ability to manage content and provide some financial and contracting resources became a key factor in making the production work.

The project was originally going to be split between Elephant and another educational video production company, but on December 26th the client asked for our help with some additional contracting needs regarding the talent. This would create more up-front costs for us that many companies wouldn’t have been able to tackle.  Being able to help out also meant that the bulk of the production work would shift to us.

We had less than a month to book a studio, hire the crew, and become familiar with the content which evolved and changed over the course of the shoot.  Once in production, the client and director Layton Blaylock carefully monitored each problem to make sure it was executed correctly while still entertaining.   All the videos featured a Math teacher and puppeteer interacting to work on problems.  The timeline was daunting as were the contract terms of the puppeteer and the economics of the project.

Whether you have called us for one video or 700, we are here are ready to work with you.
